Your cultural journey begins with choosing a hanbok, Korea’s traditional attire, to wear throughout the class. Then, under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll explore the history and distinctive sound of the gayageum before learning to play its strings step by step.

No musical experience is needed! Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply curious about Korean culture, you’ll learn at your own pace and have the chance to play the melody of Arirang yourself by the end of the session.

To make the experience even more special, you’ll finish with a hanbok photoshoot while playing the gayageum, capturing a beautiful memory surrounded by Korean tradition. You’ll also receive your photos and a certificate of completion to take home.
